Summary of Transfer vs Allocation Process

1. You must know the Level 2 fund and Level 2 program for each index.
   Note: If you don’t have this information, run MyReports FNRIFOP (Hierarchies and Index Lookup). This report will list the various Fund and Program levels for the index.
2. If both fund codes are in the same Level 2 fund, go to step 3. If not, this is a transfer.
3. If both program codes are in the same Level 2 program, this is an allocation. If not, it is a transfer.
